I'm Charlie, a lighting designer and theatre technician based in Colchester.
I started as a student technician at Colchester Royal Grammar School in 2022, supporting lighting and sound for productions, concerts and events. Since then I've programmed Sister Act, lit Sweeney Todd, and been technical director and lighting designer on Les Misérables.
Outside school I'm on the technical crew at Headgate Theatre and work freelance as a technician. I hold IPAF 3A & 3B and Vectorworks Core Associate certifications. Having finished my GCSEs, I'm now studying A Levels in Music, English Literature, Computer Science and Maths at CRGS.
